Suburb names, neighbours and LGAs
Suburb names, capital city regions and local government areas come from Australian Bureau of Statistics correspondences (ASGS Edition 3). Neighbouring postcodes come from ABS postal area boundaries (2021): two postcodes are neighbours when their boundaries touch. A postcode that crosses a council boundary is placed in the LGA that holds most of it. None of this is in the ATO tables, and the ABS material is used under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International. Postcodes the ABS files do not map keep no invented suburb name, neighbour or LGA.
